Splash into Reading Program
Your school has the opportunity to participate in the Lodge at
Cedar Creek’s Splash into Reading Program! Each student who
completes the program by reading 10 hours or 600 minutes will receive
a free Waterpark pass to be used from Memorial Day through Labor
Day. For safety reasons, one adult must purchase a regular Waterpark
pass for ever 4 passes redeemed. (This is a change from last year’s
program.) It’s fun and easy!
- Your school will need to choose a Splash Coordinator.
- You will need to complete
the online form to let Lodge at Cedar Creek’s
Waterpark Sales Manager know that your school will participate
in this exciting program! Deadline for signing up will be November
1, 2007.
- This program is open to all students in participating schools
for children pre-school through 6th grade!
- Students may read silently, to another person, or have someone
read to them.
- Each day your students read, he or she will record it on the
Student Tally Sheet. When the student completes 600 minutes or
10 hours of reading within the time provided, they will return
the Student Tally Sheet to your Splash Coordinator. The Student
Tally Sheet must be signed by a parent to be eligible to receive
a free ticket.
- Reading for regular school homework does not count for the
Splash into Reading Program. Your students may read things such
as books, comics, newspapers, etc… to be eligible for the
program!
- Once your student completes the Splash into Reading’s
Student Tally Sheet, he or she will return it to their teacher.
Your teachers will submit it to the Splash Coordinator. Your Splash
Coordinator will send it to Lodge at Cedar Creek by the deadline
and will receive the student tickets for distribution. Tickets
are only valid for the student who earns the ticket. For safety
reasons, one adult must purchase a regular Waterpark pass for
ever 4 passes redeemed. (This is a change from last year’s
program.) They can not be transferred to another child or adult.
Tickets are valid Memorial Day 2008 through Labor Day 2008 and
are not valid with any other offer.
- Tickets may not be used for school groups or outings.
- Home School Associations are welcome to join.
- We recommend that you make copies of the Teacher Roster Sheet
and the Ticket Request Form prior to submitting it to Lodge at
Cedar Creek. You will need these when the tickets are mailed to
you!
- Each participating teacher and the Splash Coordinator will
receive a free ticket for the Waterpark with the purchase of a
Waterpark pass.
- Deadline for receiving the Teacher Roster Sheets and the Ticket
Request Forms will be April 15, 2008. No late entries will be
accepted.
- Please count your tickets as soon as you receive them to insure
the correct number. If you notice an error, please call 1-888-365-6343
for assistance.
- When you receive your tickets, please print the student name,
teacher name, school and city on the ticket. Tickets not bearing
this information will not be accepted at Lodge at Cedar Creek.
- We are sorry, we can not replace lost or damaged tickets.
